Do you have any of these signs of pregnancy?
If you are wondering whether you are pregnant here are some signs that will show you that you are. Some women might show some of the below mentioned symptoms while some may show all of them. If you are attuned to your body you might know already for everyone else here are some signs that you are going to be a mother.
- Morning Sickness – It is more likely that you will have symptoms of morning sickness only after a few weeks after conception. If you are lucky you might miss it altogether. But some women start feeling nauseated as soon as a couple of days after conception. Morning sickness being a misnomer may happen any time of the day – even at night.
- Tender Breasts – Many women feel that their breasts and/or nipples become tender once they have conceived. This may just be a sign that you have your periods or it may mean that you are going to bring a life into this world.
- Frequent Urination – A lot of pregnant women have informed us that they have increased urination. Some says that this is because of the increased levels of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin in the bloodstream others refute this claim with the fact that increased blood flow to most organs after conception can increase urination. The increase in urination will worsen with the progress of your pregnancy. This is because of the weight of the fetus exertiung pressure on your bladder.
- Food Cravings – Most pregnant women will tell you about the uncanny change in their food cravings right after conception. Although we would not recommend using this as a foolproof symptom – you could keep a track of when your last period ended.
- Missed Period – If you are regular with your periods and you miss it or are late it could mean you are pregnant. Try a home pregnancy test first before consulting a doctor. This brings us to another vital sign or pregnancy.
- The Home Pregnancy Test is Positive – Home pregnancy tests are quite accurate in determining pregnancy these days. If you do get a positive result in a home pregnancy test make an appointment with your health-care provider to confirm the pregnancy.
